The Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is seeking a DevSecOps student that is motivated to contribute and learn DevSecOps principles and technologies. A successful candidate should be enthusiastic and comfortable learning new technologies, as well as adhering to existing processes. We are looking for someone who can stick to a task and pull from many resources.

Key Responsibilities:

Designs, implements, manages, and documents DevSecOps pipeline tooling from end-to-end following established industry standards

Helps establish secure, reusable solutions and processes

Supports a Software Factory via build pipelines and associated tooling

Assists in migrating the current on-premises environment to Azure

Follows direction from DevSecOps team members

Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive information

Required Qualifications:

Currently studying in computer science, information systems, or related fields

A desire to learn DevSecOps, information technology, software development, and build management systems

Experience coding or scripting

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and with team members

Must be a US citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with common coding tools and software development environments such as Linux, Git, VSCode, GitHub, Jenkins, and Docker
