What You'll Do
Pull, route, and install Cat5, Cat6, and fiber optic cabling
Install outlets, surface-mount boxes, and other low-voltage devices
Support cable pathways using cable trays, J-hooks, D-rings, and trapeze systems
Organize, label, dress, and prepare cables for termination
Build and organize telecommunications closets, racks, patch panels, and equipment cabinets
Assist with rack-and-stack projects in data center environments
Perform basic cable terminations and learn testing procedures
Follow safety standards and maintain a clean, professional job site
What We're Looking For
Strong interest in technology, telecommunications, or construction
Reliable, self-motivated, and eager to learn
Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
Comfortable working indoors, outdoors, on ladders, and in active construction environments
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and move up to 75 lbs.
Ability to distinguish colors, read small print, and recognize audible signals

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
