Position Overview

In this role, you will provide operational support on syndicated and bilateral loans for some of the largest and most sophisticated corporate loan transactions in the market. Within Wholesale Lending Services (WLS), you will have direct contact with borrowers, lenders, and business partners while delivering an exceptional servicing experience and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate is highly independent, takes initiative, is exceptionally organized, and communicates effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Provide deal origination and execution support to Asset Based Lending bank deal teams.

Serve as the primary loan servicing contact for internal and external clients, managing issues and resolutions.

Deliver excellence in customer service for internal and external customers.

Provide feedback to deal structuring teams regarding operational market trends and operational feasibility.

Read and interpret complex legal credit agreements and related documentation, partnering with attorneys when necessary.

Perform quality control reviews on new deals, restructures, and amendments by verifying credit agreement requirements and system setup accuracy.

Oversee loan activity, including funding, repricings, and payments in accordance with credit agreements.

Calculate and track complex interest and fee accruals across changing lender distributions.

Reconcile daily funding and payment activity to account for cash transactions and automated funds movement.

Monitor and escalate past-due principal, interest, and fee balances.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

15 or more years of Commercial Lending or Asset Based Lending experience.

1-2 years of demonstrated exceptional customer service experience.

Thorough understanding of Treasury Products.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proven ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify connections across data and systems while articulating client impact.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to operate effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including strong Excel skills.

Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently.

Knowledge of reading and interpreting syndicated or bilateral credit agreements in both pre-close and post-close environments.

Preferred Experience

LoanIQ experience.

Syndicated loan servicing experience.

Client portfolio management experience.

Direct client-facing experience supporting borrowers, lenders, and business partners.
