Job Description
The Manufacturing Fabricator operates a variety of production equipment and supports multiple stages of the metal fabrication process, with a primary focus on press brake operations. This role suits individuals who are mechanically inclined, enjoy a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and are eager to learn and cross-train on multiple machines and processes. The position offers the opportunity to build hands-on experience while contributing to high-quality metal components and finished products.
Responsibilities
Operate and set up press brake equipment to bend and form metal components according to specifications and blueprints.
Perform hardware insertion using Haeger equipment to assemble and secure components.
Grind and finish metal parts to meet established quality and appearance standards.
Operate laser cutting equipment as needed to support production schedules and customer requirements.
Assemble manufactured components and finished products, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Perform shakeout operations and material handling tasks to support efficient workflow.
Tap holes and prepare parts for assembly or additional processing.
Cross-train on and assist with other machines and production processes as business needs require.
Inspect parts visually and using measuring tools to verify quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications.
Use calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools to confirm dimensions and tolerances.
Follow work instructions, blueprints, and production documentation to complete tasks correctly and on time.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company standards.
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures while working around machinery and tools.
Demonstrate reliable attendance, positive work ethic, and effective teamwork to support production goals.
Essential Skills
Experience in manufacturing or machine operation preferred, particularly in a production or fabrication environment.
Press brake operation experience is a plus; willingness to train and learn press brake setup and operation is required.
Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions and production documentation.
Ability to interpret blueprints and use them to guide fabrication and inspection activities.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, including visual inspection and quality control practices.
Mechanical aptitude with the ability and desire to learn multiple machines and processes.
Ability to perform basic inspection using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
Capability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and consistency.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team.
Reliable attendance and a positive, proactive work ethic.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, stoop, and handle materials safely.
Comfort working in a manufacturing environment around machinery, tools, noise, fumes, and airborne particles.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in metal fabrication, including grinding, finishing, and assembly of metal parts.
Exposure to laser cutting equipment and related processes.
Experience in quality control, quality assurance, or inspection within a production or food industry environment.
Familiarity with using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement tools in a manufacturing setting.
Experience reading and working from blueprints in a fabrication or mechanical role.
Demonstrated ability to cross-train on multiple machines and adapt to changing production needs.
Interest in building a long-term career in manufacturing with a focus on continuous learning and skill development.

Work Environment
This role is based in a fast-paced metal fabrication facility with regular exposure to fumes, airborne particles, vibration, and moving equipment. Noise levels range from moderate to high, and you will work in close proximity to machinery such as press brakes, Haeger hardware insertion equipment, laser cutting systems, and various grinding and finishing tools. The position requires standing for extended periods and performing repetitive motions, including bending, reaching, and stooping, while handling metal parts and materials. The environment emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and organization, with established safety policies and procedures guiding all work around tools and equipment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Moxee, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
