Job Description

What You'll Do

Drive innovative product development from concept through manufacturing, ensuring designs meet performance, durability, and reliability requirements.

Lead the ideation and development of subsystem and system-level architecture concepts through creative problem solving.

Design, build, and evaluate high-fidelity proof-of-concept proto@types.

Perform detailed mechanical analyses, including FEA, tolerance stack-ups, testing, and validation activities to ensure robust product performance.

Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, manufacturing, and other stakeholders across domestic and international teams.

Work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Continuously expand technical expertise through hands-on product development and engineering challenges.

Create and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including design specifications, testing results, manufacturing processes, and compliance requirements.

Support product development through all phases of the lifecycle, from early concept and prototyping through validation and production launch.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

8+ years of mechanical design experience specific to advanced hardware systems from concept to production

SolidWorks or similar CAD software experience

Advanced understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and single-board computers

Strong understanding of engineering principles, including heat transfer, EMI, and shock/vibration Master's in Mechanical Engineering

MIL STDs knowledge
