Bilingual Staff Accountant

Outdoor Perspective is a growing company located in Lowell, MA and in need of a bilingual (English/Spanish) Staff Accountant. This position is responsible for organizing, processing, and maintaining multiple areas for the Company. Duties include payroll processing and human resources along with processing vendor invoices and payments into the accounting system.\ Accounts Payable Responsibilites:\

Ensures that for all PO related invoices that the 3-way match process

of gathering the PO, Receiving Approvals and Invoice copy occurs timely and is accurate.\

Ensures that all non-PO invoices get timely approvals and that GL

accounting coding on invoices is accurate.\

Processes and enters all A/P invoices into software, including

ensuring correct GL Account coding.\

Mail/Distribute signed checks including assembling check payment

advice to invoices.\

Reconcile vendor statements, including asking vendor for missing

invoices we do not have.\

Maintain contact with any vendor to investigate discrepancies, resolve

issues.\

Credit card processing including gathering all receipts from

cardholders timely.\

Files, maintains, and distributes accounting documents, records and

reports.\

Performs other duties as required to support operations.\

Analyzing workflow processes.\

Payroll and HR Responsibilities:\

Process weekly payroll, adds and terminations.\

Review employee time punch edits made by managers to ensure accuracy

and consistency.\

Provide assistance with problem troubleshooting and resolves employee

pay discrepancies.\

Review employee expense reports and ensure receipts are attached and

approvals received.\

Manage payroll files and other record keeping.\

Creates new employee personnel files.\

Follow compliance with employee regulations.\

Assist with employee benefits and enrollment.\

Work with our ADP and benefits coordinator as necessary.\

Skills and Qualifications\

MUST speak Spanish in addition to English.\

Five years experience in accounting and/or similar roles\

Competency with accounting systems\

Strong Excel skills\

Data entry skills\
