Are you someone who enjoys working with your hands, reading wiring diagrams, and bringing electrical systems to life? We're looking for a Wire Technician to join our growing team and help build high-quality industrial control panels, switchboards, and electrical control systems used in a variety of applications.
In this role, you'll work alongside Electrical Engineers and experienced technicians in a collaborative manufacturing environment where safety, quality, and continuous improvement are top priorities. What You'll Do
Assemble and wire industrial control panels, switchboards, and electrical assemblies
Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and drawings
Route, terminate, and label wires according to specifications
Build cable harnesses and circuit subassemblies
Perform continuity checks and basic electrical testing using a multimeter
Troubleshoot wiring and component issues to ensure proper functionality
Conduct quality inspections to verify workmanship and compliance standards
Maintain production records and documentation using company systems
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to complete projects on time
Follow all safety procedures, quality requirements, and workplace organization standards
What We're Looking For
High school diploma or GED
At least 1 year of experience in electrical assembly, wiring, controls assembly, or manufacturing
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Experience using hand tools, power tools, wire cutters, and electrical assembly tools
Familiarity with electrical wiring and troubleshooting techniques
Experience using a multimeter for testing and verification
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to work overtime when needed to support production schedules
Preferred Qualifications
Experience wiring industrial control panels, switchgear, or power distribution equipment
Knowledge of UL891 and NFPA 70E standards
Experience with AutoCAD or similar electrical design software
Familiarity with Epicor or other manufacturing ERP systems
Exposure to ISO quality systems
Experience with 5S, Lean Manufacturing, or continuous improvement initiatives
Previous leadership, mentoring, or training experience

Work Environment
This position is based in a manufacturing environment where you'll spend your day building and wiring control panels, switchboards, and cable assemblies. The role involves using hand tools, power tools, wiring equipment, and testing instruments while working in a safety-focused environment. Appropriate PPE is required, and overtime may be available to meet customer and production demands.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
