Outside Sales Representative

Description We are looking for a driven Outside Sales Representative to support client growth and business development in Seattle, Washington. This is a Contract position for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a field-based sales role, enjoys meeting customers in person, and can also build momentum through phone outreach and virtual conversations. The ideal candidate brings a relationship-focused approach, manages opportunities independently, and contributes to revenue growth through consistent follow-through and strong customer engagement.

Responsibilities:

Travel throughout the local territory for much of the workweek to meet with current customers and prospective clients in person.

Build lasting partnerships by staying closely connected to customer needs and identifying ways to deepen account relationships.

Generate new business through proactive outreach, including outbound calls, scheduled follow-ups, and targeted prospecting efforts.

Lead client meetings, presentations, and service demonstrations that clearly communicate value and address business challenges.

Oversee the full sales cycle, from initial contact and qualification through proposal discussions and closing activities.

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, pipeline updates, and sales activity using company-approved tools and systems.

Coordinate with internal partners to support smooth service delivery and a positive overall customer experience.

Represent the organization at networking functions, trade events, and other business development opportunities within the market.

Track customer satisfaction, respond to concerns promptly, and pursue opportunities to expand revenue within existing accounts.

Consistently work toward established sales, activity, and revenue targets while managing territory priorities effectively. Requirements - At least 2 years of experience in sales, account management, business development, or client-facing relationship roles.

Demonstrated success building trust with customers and maintaining strong long-term business relationships.

Ability to work effectively in a role that requires frequent local travel and regular in-person meetings.

Strong verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills across face-to-face, phone, and virtual settings.

Confidence in outbound prospecting, client follow-up, and advancing opportunities through the sales pipeline.

Solid organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and sales-related technology for activity tracking and account management.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local client travel. TalentMatch®
