As an Armed Security Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and team members. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and Level III Armed Certification. Fri07:00 AM - 05:00 PM

Sat07:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to shoppers, employees, and visitors while carrying out security procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail store, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.

Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.

Maintain required certifications and carry assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, Allied Universal policies, and location requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
