North Central West Virginia | Full-Time

$13 - $18 per Hour (Based on Experience)

Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Our client, a well-established law firm specializing in consumer collections and judgment execution matters throughout West Virginia and Virginia, is seeking a reliable and motivated Legal Assistant to join their growing team. Prior experience in a law office is preferred, but candidates with strong administrative experience and a desire to learn are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do

As a Legal Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting attorneys and ensuring the efficient operation of the office. Your responsibilities will include:

? Assisting attorneys with incoming and outgoing calls, correspondence, and legal documentation

? Preparing, drafting, and processing legal documents with accuracy and attention to detail

? Communicating professionally with clients, courts, and other legal parties

? Coordinating filings, court-related matters, and legal communications

? Managing multiple priorities in a high-volume legal environment

? Maintaining organized records and ensuring timely completion of tasks

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, and eager to contribute to a successful legal team.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a law office preferred

Minimum of 1 year of legal, administrative, or office experience

High School Diploma or GED required

Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively

Professional demeanor and commitment to confidentiality
