IT Administrator

Primary duties include but not limited to:
Provide system and network administration in the support of all information technology systems and networks owned by First State Bank.
Support end-users in the daily use of computer systems and software applications specific to the operations of the bank.
Review system logs, respond to alarms, outages, and initiate corrective action to maintain a stable network and computer environment.
Review, test and recommend new technologies to bank management.
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of information management policy, systems and technology
Possess the authority to respond to a security event by ordering emergency actions to protect the institution and its customers from an imminent loss of information or value
Secondary duties include but not limited to:
Information Security Officer -- Monitor the bank's IT system to look for threats to security, establish protocols for identifying and neutralizing threats, and maintain updated anti-virus software to block threats.
Lead the ISO portion of the IT Committee meeting
Provide training to ensure that the Bank's employees understand the meaning and purpose of Information Security-related policy and procedures
Hold responsibility for the development, implementation, and day-to-day operations of a comprehensive Information Security Program
Establish and implement appropriate routines for ensuring the security of confidential information stored, processed, or transmitted on the Bank's IT Systems
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide network support within Windows operating system environment.
Maintain network connectivity of all computer workstations and provide network support to users.
Maintain servers and associated hardware, applications, services, and settings.
Support and monitor virtual computing environment.
Develop and monitor policies and procedures for the use of network resources as well as giving feedback on IT issues and experiences.
Evaluate and recommend security improvements and system upgrades.
Designs and carries out independent projects as assigned
Monitor network to ensure optimal performance and troubleshoot network failures and outages
Assist in development of policies and procedures, risk assessments, IT audits, business continuity planning, incident response planning, testing and security reporting processes
Develop continuing relationships with security product vendors and consultants
Skills & Experience
Previous network administration and help desk experience
Experience managing Windows Servers 2016, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP
Maintenance of workstations, servers, storage, and networking hardware
Experience with VMWare/HyperV preferred.
Ability to work independently under minimal supervision and with small team to ensure the security of the Bank's confidential information.
Solid logical, analytical and communication skills and can communicate clearly and effectively about information security issues
Willingness to assume responsibility and to make decisions
Reliable, organized, and flexible
Identify, analyze and address problems in order to resolve issues whenever possible in a way that minimizes the negative impact on the organization
Ability to train and supervise others in the use of the Information Security policy and procedure
Has the authority to make organizational decisions that directly affect the security of the Bank's confidential information
