Position Overview

Robert Half is partnering with an Environmental Law Firm to hire a Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys with litigation matters, legal research, document review, proofreading, cite-checking, and case management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while utilizing legal technology and AI tools to enhance efficiency.

Responsibilities

Support attorneys throughout all phases of litigation.

Conduct legal research and assist with drafting and reviewing legal documents.

Proofread and cite-check pleadings, motions, correspondence, and filings.

Prepare and manage court filings, deadlines, and case files.

Assist with discovery, document review, and trial preparation.

Utilize legal technology and AI tools to support workflows.

Handle administrative and project-based tasks as needed.

Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure matters are completed accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

Paralegal Certificate required.

5+ years of litigation paralegal experience preferred.

Strong knowledge of California court procedures and filings.

Experience supporting complex litigation matters.

Excellent cite checking, proofreading, research, and organizational skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to think critically.

Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new software and AI tools.

High emotional intelligence, professionalism, and a proactive attitude.

Environmental law experience is a plus, but not required.
