What You'll Do
As a Test Technician, you'll be responsible for testing, diagnosing, calibrating, and repairing advanced medical testing equipment, ensuring every unit performs flawlessly before shipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform electrical and functional testing of medical testing equipment using established procedures and SOPs.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical issues identified during testing.
Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, work instructions, and technical documentation.
Conduct calibration, inspection, and quality control activities to verify compliance and performance standards.
Utilize hand tools and testing equipment, including torque wrenches, screwdrivers, drills, and electronic meters.
Accurately document testing results, repairs, and quality records in compliance with GMP, GDP, and DHR requirements.
Verify products meet all quality, safety, and reliability standards before release.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
Associate degree/ two-year technical degree.
2 to 4 years of experience testing, troubleshooting, or repairing equipment in a manufacturing environment.
1 to 2 years of electrical testing and troubleshooting experience.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical instructions.
Experience using hand tools and electronic testing equipment.
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in medical device manufacturing or other regulated manufacturing environments.
Experience working with Device History Records (DHR).
Experience in equipment repair, technical assembly, engineering support, or calibration.
Familiarity with electrical wiring, quality systems, inspection, and testing procedures.
Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Work Environment
Work in a clean, climate-controlled, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility dedicated to quality, innovation, and teamwork. This role involves approximately 80% standing, 10% walking, and 10% sitting, along with frequent bending and reaching. Employees utilize advanced testing equipment while following established safety and quality procedures.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chanhassen, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00/hr.
