Summary The primary purpose of this position is As an Air Reserve Technician (ART) accomplishes a variety of work which determines the unit's readiness and capability to meet its wartime mission and provide training to assigned unit personnel in the accomplishment of contingency and humanitarian missions and worldwide deployment activities. Maintain interface with multiple major software information management systems that aeromedical evacuation uses. In addition, ARTs are required to maintain active membership in an Air Force Reserve unit so long as they occupy Air Reserve Technician positions. As members of reserve units, ARTs receive on average one weekend of military training per month. In addition, they are eligible for 15 days active duty tour each year for which military leave is granted with full civilian pay.
