Job Description

Insight Global is looking for two Sales Manager to support a Fortune 1000 client in the automotive marketplace space. This role is a field-facing "hunter" responsible for growing the clients specific division by prospecting new customers, delivering the program pitch, and securing assignments. This role opens the relationship and lands the business, then transitions each new account to the inside teams who manage and grow it over time. Success is measured by the volume and diversity of new assignments brought in from the field.

Day to day:

Master and deliver the program pitch with confidence and consistency.

Travel to assigned markets on a rotating (every-other-week) basis to prospect and meet dealers in person.

Transition newly signed accounts and their assignments to the appropriate inside teams for ongoing account management ("farming").

During office weeks, partner with inside teams to ensure clean, complete handoffs, including joining Teams/video conferences with new accounts to get them set up smoothly.

Support the sale of incoming units by helping counter-bid and doing whatever is needed to move cars and reinforce the value of the program to new dealers.

Plan upcoming field trips with the Vice President, determining target markets, routes, and dealer targets for each trip.

Skills and Requirements

2+ years of outside sales, business development, or territory management experience.

Proven track record of prospecting and closing new business.

Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Ability to work independently and manage a travel-heavy schedule.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.

Valid driver's license and ability to travel
