Job Description
Insight global is seeking an experienced P6 Scheduler to support a large-scale industrial construction project in Cameron, Louisiana. This individual will be responsible for maintaining and progressing a web-based Primavera P6 schedule, coordinating schedule activities across multiple contractors, and driving planning efforts to ensure successful project execution. This role is ideal for an experienced scheduling professional with extensive experience supporting heavy industrial construction projects and expertise in Primavera P6 scheduling, critical path management, and field execution planning.
Core Responsibilities:
Planning & Scheduling
-Maintain and progress the web-based Primavera P6 project schedule.
-Coordinate scheduling activities and logic across multiple onsite contractors.
-Manage schedule updates within a restricted-access web-based P6 environment.
-Develop and maintain integrated project schedules supporting engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup activities.
-Perform critical path analysis and identify schedule risks, constraints, and recovery opportunities.
-Conduct schedule health assessments and variance analysis.
-Support schedule recovery initiatives, delay analysis, and change management processes.
-Drive weekly critical path review meetings and schedule alignment discussions.
Field Coordination
-Lead daily scheduling coordination meetings with project stakeholders.
-Update daily progress and actuals within the P6 schedule.
-Partner closely with superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, and project managers.
-Facilitate 3-Week Look-Ahead planning sessions and work package reviews.
-Participate in weekly client scheduling meetings.
-Maintain active field presence to validate progress and identify execution constraints.
Location: 236 Davis Road, Cameron, LA
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Schedule: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM | 6 Days/Week (Monday-Saturday) | 60 Hours/Week
Bill rate: $135/hour + $125/day Per Diem

Skills and Requirements
-2+ years of P6 scheduling experience on large-scale industrial construction projects. (Web based P6 application experience).
-Experience leading integrated project schedules across multiple disciplines and contractors.
-Ability to work extended hours and weekends as project demands require.
