AMPORTS Benicia is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Coordinator for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity. This position prepares customer invoices for multiple locations, reconciles billing and payment records, maintains accounts receivable aging information, and follows up on outstanding balances.

The ideal candidate is accurate, dependable, responsive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven office environment.

Essential Responsibilities

Prepare and distribute accurate customer invoices for multiple locations.

Verify billing against contracts, completed work, and supporting documentation.

Process month-end accounts receivable invoicing and related reports.

Maintain accurate accounts receivable aging reports.

Reconcile customer accounts, system reports, payments, and general ledger records.

Prepare invoices, credit memos, and other billing documentation.

Research and resolve billing, payment, and account discrepancies.

Follow up with customers regarding outstanding balances and past-due invoices.

Accurately enter, classify, post, and maintain accounts receivable data.

Maintain complete and organized customer files.

Communicate professionally with customers and internal departments.

Assist the Office Manager and provide accounts payable or administrative support as needed.

Protect the confidentiality of customer and financial information.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Pay Range: $28.00

What's the Job?

Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.

One to two years of accounts receivable or general accounting experience.

Experience with customer invoicing, collections, and month-end reporting.

Experience supporting financial activities for multiple locations.

Experience using NetSuite or a similar accounting system.

Full-time, Monday through Friday.

Eight-hour day shifts. (7a-3:30p, until Labor day when it switches to 8a-4:30p til Memorial Day)

Overtime may be required during month-end or other peak periods.

Work is primarily performed in a professional office environment.

Occasional lifting of office supplies or materials weighing up to 20 pounds may be required.
