Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Job Description
This role focuses on receiving, transferring, packaging, and shipping products as finished goods. You ensure accurate handling of inventory, prepare orders for shipment, and support small local deliveries while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
Receive incoming products and accurately transfer them into finished goods inventory.
Package and prepare goods for shipment according to established procedures and standards.
Handle shipping tasks using carriers such as UPS and FedEx, including labeling and documentation.
Operate a pallet jack to move, load, and unload materials safely within the warehouse.
Palletize, shrink wrap, and strap goods to secure loads for storage and transportation.
Perform small local deliveries using company delivery trucks, following safe driving practices.
Pick and pack orders accurately based on pick lists and customer requirements.
Support shipping and receiving activities, including verifying quantities and inspecting products.
Assist with general labor tasks such as organizing materials, cleaning work areas, and maintaining warehouse order.
Handle material movement throughout the warehouse to ensure efficient workflow.
Load and unload products from trucks and staging areas as needed.
Participate in inventory control activities, including warehouse inventory checks and cycle counts.
Perform order picking with attention to accuracy and timeliness.
Support packaging operations to ensure products are properly protected and labeled.
Contribute to maintaining accurate inventory records and reporting discrepancies promptly.
Essential Skills
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs safely and repeatedly during the workday.
Ability to speak, read, and write in English to follow instructions and complete documentation.
Basic shipping and receiving skills, including handling packages and preparing shipments.
Ability to operate a pallet jack for moving and positioning materials.
Capability to palletize, shrink wrap, and strap goods to secure shipments.
Clean driving record suitable for operating company delivery trucks for small deliveries.
Attention to detail in picking, packing, and labeling orders.
Reliability and willingness to perform general labor and material handling tasks in a warehouse environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous shipping experience is preferred and considered an asset.
Experience with UPS and FedEx shipping systems is beneficial.
in warehouse inventory, order picking, and cycle counts is helpful.
Familiarity with packaging processes and inventory control practices is advantageous.
Comfort working in a fast-paced warehouse setting with changing priorities.

Work Environment

This is a Contract position based out of Morgan Hill, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
