Description We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to provide immediate onsite support to a busy property management team in New Windsor, New York. This Contract position is expected to last about one month, with the possibility of longer-term consideration based on performance. The role is well suited for someone who is confident with data entry, document handling, and day-to-day administrative coordination in a real estate or property management setting.

Responsibilities:

Enter, update, and review tenant, lease, and property information in Yardi Breeze with a high level of accuracy.

Assist with lease renewal workflows by organizing documents, tracking status, and preparing related records for processing.

Draft, prepare, and distribute tenant notices, including time-sensitive legal or eviction-related correspondence.

Provide administrative assistance to the property management team by handling records, files, and routine office support tasks.

Maintain organized tenant and property documentation to help ensure complete and current records.

Support leasing activities as needed, which may occasionally include helping coordinate or facilitate apartment showings.

Verify data across internal files and systems to reduce errors and keep information consistent.

Respond quickly to shifting workload needs and help keep daily property management operations running smoothly. Requirements - Experience with data entry and administrative support in an office, property management, or real estate environment.

Strong familiarity with Yardi Breeze; experience with Yardi or similar property management platforms is highly valued.

Ability to work onsite in New Windsor, New York, on a Monday through Friday schedule, with availability for at least three days per week.

Comfortable handling lease documents, tenant records, notices, and other property-related paperwork.

Solid organizational skills with careful attention to detail and accuracy in high-volume data tasks.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and general office software.

Ability to learn procedures quickly and contribute productively with minimal ramp-up time.
