Mechanical Engineering Technician

Description

The Mechanical Tech will build and assemble generator components and subsystems while adhering to established procedures. This position is responsible for inspecting test units, documenting findings for engineering teams, and supporting continuous improvements focused on safety, quality, and efficiency. Candidates will utilize precision measuring equipment and work closely with engineering and production teams in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

Experience with hand tools, power tools, and mechanical assemblies Experience working from engineering drawings, schematics, or assembly instructions Experience with quality inspections and documentation Ability to work with tight tolerances (.001") Experience in manufacturing, automotive, heavy equipment, energy, aerospace, or industrial environments Ability to frequently lift 25 lbs and occasionally lift 50 lbs Experience contributing to process or safety improvements Metal fabrication

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $37.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
