Our client, a leading automotive manufacturing organization , is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Leader (Supply Chain) to join their team. As a Manufacturing Operations Leader, you will be part of the Operations & Manufacturing Department , supporting production teams, Group Leaders, and hourly employees across a high-volume manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to build collaborative relationships that drive operational excellence.

Job Title: Manufacturing Operations Leader (Supply Chain)

Location: Bedford, IN

Pay Range: $47.61 - $54.41 per hour

Work Type: Onsite | Contract

What's the Job?

Lead daily manufacturing and supply chain operations to achieve production, quality, safety, and cost objectives.

Supervise, coach, and develop Group Leaders and hourly employees while fostering a high-performance team culture.

Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, waste reduction, and process optimization.

Support production launches, pilot programs, and implementation of standardized operating procedures.

Collaborate with operations, quality, and safety teams to resolve issues and ensure consistent operational performance.

What's Needed?

Experience leading teams in a manufacturing, production, operations, or supply chain environment.

Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.

Experience coaching, developing, and managing hourly employees and front-line leaders.

Ability to manage production schedules, quality targets, safety metrics, and cost objectives simultaneously.

Experience in an automotive or unionized manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
