Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional short-term temprorary Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations for a growing organization in Tacoma, WA. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess strong communication skills, and be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role will provide administrative support to leadership and staff while helping ensure the office runs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to department leaders and team members.

Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails in a professional manner.

Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments.

Prepare, edit, and distribute correspondence, reports, and other documents.

Maintain electronic and physical filing systems to ensure accurate recordkeeping.

Enter, update, and verify data in internal systems and databases.

Assist with meeting preparation, including agendas, materials, and conference room coordination.

Process incoming and outgoing mail and shipments.

Order and maintain office supplies and equipment inventories.

Support special projects and perform additional administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

2+ years of administrative, clerical, or office support experience.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.

Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Professional demeanor and customer-focused attitude.

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
