Position Overview
We are partnering with a growing multi-product pharmaceutical manufacturing facility to place Manufacturing Assembly & Packaging Associates supporting drug product operations. This is a great opportunity for an entry-level candidate with GMP exposure to join a structured team performing assembly, packaging, and equipment support functions under the guidance of senior associates.
Shift : 3rd Shift, beginning 8/24/2026 through 12/30/2026 (facility shutdown in late December). A subset of the team will be asked to return on 2nd Shift (Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM-10:30 PM) through the end of the following year, based on team fit.
Compensation : $24-$25/hr Shift Differential: 15%, effective first day of work
What You'll Do
Perform routine assembly and packaging tasks in a multi-product drug manufacturing environment under limited supervision, following standard operating procedures.
Support Senior and Master Associates with assembly and packaging activities in the designated production area.
Assist with equipment troubleshooting, changeovers, and minor repairs or adjustments.
Help set up automated autoinjector and pre-filled syringe assembly equipment, as well as semi-automated tabletop machines, including gathering tools, parts, and required documentation.
Complete all documentation accurately in batch records, logbooks, and SOP attachments; report events and issues to the production supervisor.
Maintain production areas in accordance with 5S standards, including cleaning, waste removal, and sanitization.
Verify equipment calibration and complete required logbooks.
Support visual inspection and filling operations as needed.
Ensure components, materials, and supplies are stocked ahead of operations.
Move product, components, and equipment within the assembly, packaging, and CNC areas.
Communicate effectively with relief personnel during shift change.
Identify and escalate unsafe conditions or practices appropriately.
What We're Looking For
High school diploma plus a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a GMP-regulated industry.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or biotechnology vocational training, preferred.
Prior experience in a GMP environment within biotechnology or pharmaceuticals strongly preferred.
Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively in small teams.
Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and conversions.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to read, comprehend, and follow written instructions.
Basic computer proficiency, including MS Office and Outlook.
Willingness to adhere to all SOPs, cGMP requirements, and company policies and procedures.
