Job Title: Warehouse Material Handler / Delivery Driver Job Description
This role combines warehouse material handling with local delivery driving to support plumbing operations. You organize and stage materials, load and unload plumbing supplies and equipment, and deliver them safely and efficiently to job sites. The position involves physical work, attention to detail, and consistent adherence to safety and company procedures while maintaining a clean driving record.
Responsibilities
Organize and maintain the warehouse so materials are properly stored, clearly labeled, and easily accessible.
Load and unload plumbing materials, supplies, and equipment from company vehicles using safe handling practices.
Deliver materials to job sites in a safe, timely, and professional manner using company vehicles.
Verify materials, quantities, and documentation before each delivery to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Assist with inventory organization, restocking shelves, and maintaining accurate stock levels.
Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment, including regular cleaning and basic upkeep.
Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and traffic regulations during warehouse work and deliveries.
Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, drivers, and field crews to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues.
Perform general labor tasks in the warehouse as needed to support daily operations.
Handle materials carefully to prevent damage and ensure quality upon arrival at job sites.
Essential Skills
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Valid driver's license.
Prior warehouse experience with material handling and organization.
Experience loading and unloading materials, supplies, and equipment.
Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials, including loads up to 50 lbs or more.
Strong organizational skills to maintain an orderly warehouse and accurate inventory.
High attention to detail when verifying materials and quantities for deliveries.
Reliability, punctuality, and dependability in reporting to work and completing assigned tasks.
Ability to perform general labor and cleaning tasks in a warehouse environment.
Effective communication skills for coordinating with warehouse staff, drivers, and field crews.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with delivery driving in a local or regional area.
Familiarity with plumbing materials, supplies, and equipment is helpful but not required.
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and company procedures.
Basic understanding of inventory organization and stock rotation.
Commitment to safe work practices and proper use of company vehicles and equipment.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
