Located on the Mississippi River, on the site of the former Learned's Mill that operated from 1828 until 1962, Magnolia Bluffs Casino now calls this historic land home. The casino originally opened in 2012 and is currently owned and operated by Saratoga Casino Holdings, LLC. With numerous slot machines and ample table games such as poker, blackjack, roulette and craps as well as delicious dining options, we offer a guest experience unparalleled to others. In addition to our boasting casino, we operate a beautiful hotel with the areas only saltwater pool!
We are now looking to expand our team as we continue to provide the city of Natchez with the best customer service and gaming experience possible! Our current opening is for a Director of Slot Operations. This position will report directly to the General Manager and will be responsible for:
The Director of Slot Operations is responsible for overseeing the management and performance of slot machine operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maximizing revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management: The Director is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive operational strategies for slot gaming that align with organizational goals. This includes overseeing the performance of slot operations, analyzing performance metrics, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Team Leadership: The Director leads and mentors a team of slot attendants and slot technicians, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. This includes hiring, training, and evaluating team members to ensure high standards of service and compliance.
Guest Experience Enhancement: Creating an engaging and exciting environment for guests is a priority. The Director implements player engagement strategies and ensures superior customer service to enhance the overall player experience.

Vendor & Product Lifecycle Management
Expertise in evaluating, negotiating, and managing relationships with IGT, Aristocrat, Light & Wonder, Ainsworth, and other slot manufacturers. Ability to assess life-cycle profitability, forecast depreciation, and optimize conversions for maximum WPU.
Floor Optimization & Layout Engineering
Skilled in designing high-impact slot floor layouts using heat maps, traffic flow analysis, and revenue zoning principles to support higher occupancy, extended time-on-device, and improved accessibility. Experience with space reallocations (e.g., adding kiosks, removing underperforming banks).
Regulatory Compliance & Internal Controls Mastery
Advanced knowledge of MGC regulations, Title 31, internal controls, BV tracking procedures, jackpot processing, and system audits. Ability to build SOPs, conduct compliance checks, and enforce accuracy in PAR sheets, drop schedules, and can performance.
Systems Integration & Technical Diagnostics
Proficiency with ACSC, IGT Advantage, CasinoTrac, or similar CMS systems, including troubleshooting communication failures, SAS issues, ticketing faults, and can errors. Ability to coordinate with IT and vendors for rapid repair to preserve uptime.
Project & Capital Planning Leadership
Ability to lead multi-million-dollar slot capital projects (floor conversions, kiosk installations, lighting upgrades, VR/future tech planning). Skilled in forecasting ROI, preparing CapEx requests, and managing installation schedules with minimal operational disruption.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience: Typically requires 5 to 7+ years of experience in gaming operations, with a focus on slot management and operations.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills are necessary to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies for improvement.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for influencing stakeholders and leading teams effectively.
Responsible for the leadership and management of the Master Slot Floor Technician Manager and Slot Floor Technicians.
Other:
Able to lift or carry 50lbs occasionally
Able to stand and walk 8-10 hours

Casino employees may be required to obtain a Mississippi Gaming License. Cost of license is covered by Saratoga Casino Holdings, LLC. Travel to Jackson, MS will be mandatory for this licensing process.
