As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while using technology to document security-related activity. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Sat07:00 AM - 03:30 PM

Sun07:00 AM - 03:30 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout warehouse, loading dock, shipping and receiving, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs for deliveries, arrivals, departures, and security-related incidents.

Assist with maintaining orderly traffic flow for commercial vehicles and personnel while reporting damaged gates, doors, lighting, and other security-related conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
