Sales Support Coordinator

Description

Our client is seeking a proactive and organized Sales Support Coordinator to support their sales team in San Diego, California. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, coordinating multiple priorities, and providing exceptional internal and external customer support. The successful candidate will help keep the sales process organized while ensuring clients and sales representatives receive timely and accurate support.

Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day administrative support to the sales team

Prepare proposals, presentations, quotes, and other sales documentation

Enter and maintain customer and sales information in CRM systems

Process sales orders and coordinate order-related documentation

Track orders, shipments, and customer requests

Respond to customer inquiries and provide timely follow-up

Coordinate meetings, appointments, and sales-related activities

Assist with preparing sales reports, spreadsheets, and presentations

Maintain accurate customer records and sales files

Follow up on outstanding information, documents, and action items

Communicate with internal departments including operations, customer service, and accounting

Assist with special projects and other administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

Requirements:

1+ year of sales support, administrative, customer service, or related experience

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook

Experience working with CRM or other business systems preferred

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Strong follow-through and problem-solving skills

Professional and customer-focused approach

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience supporting a sales or business development team

Experience with Salesforce or another CRM platform

Experience preparing quotes, proposals, or sales reports

Strong Excel skills, including sorting, filtering, and basic formulas

Previous experience in a professional office environment
