Summary You will serve as a FAMILY MEMBER EMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM SPECIALIST in the PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT (P&PD) BRANCH of MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CTR. Responsibilities You will engage with civilian employers in the community to establish connections, explore employment opportunities, network, and foster community capacity building efforts for military spouses and family members. You will perform a variety of administrative duties including maintaining attendance rosters for workshops and training, scheduling one-on-one meetings, interviewing and planning workshops schedules. You will plan and coordinate Volunteer Recognition Ceremony for installation. You will plan, organize, instruct and facilitate educational courses of high quality. You will establish a safe and respectful environment that fosters effective learning and open communication to optimize engagement. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing counseling, transition assistance, referring clients in support of permanent change of station (PCS) transition goals/plans AND assisting/advising with career coaching, career readiness tools, resources and services.
