Description

We are looking for an Accountant to support core accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented who can manage day-to-day financial activity, maintain accurate records, and help ensure timely month-end processes. The person in this role will contribute across payables, receivables, and general ledger work while partnering with internal teams to keep accounting functions organized and compliant.

Responsibilities:

Process vendor invoices, verify supporting documentation, and prepare payments in accordance with company procedures.

Record customer transactions, monitor outstanding balances, and assist with collections to maintain healthy receivables.

Prepare and post journal entries with a high level of accuracy to support monthly accounting close activities.

Reconcile bank statements and investigate discrepancies to ensure financial records remain complete and reliable.

Maintain general ledger accounts and review activity for accuracy, consistency, and proper classification.

Assist with month-end and year-end close tasks, including account analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.

Support financial reporting by gathering data, organizing schedules, and providing documentation for internal review.

Work with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve billing, payment, and account-related issues in a timely manner.

Requirements - Hands-on accounting experience with strengths in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger support.

Proven ability to prepare journal entries and perform bank reconciliations accurately and efficiently.

Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles and routine close processes.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Proficiency using accounting systems and Microsoft Excel for data entry, tracking, and analysis.

Clear written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external contacts.
