Robert Half has partnered with an established educational service in Kingston, NY to identify a professional and customer-focused Customer Service Representative for a contract assignment. This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys helping others, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to providing excellent service to students, parents, faculty, and visitors. The Customer Service Representative will serve as a key point of contact and help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of administrative and customer support functions.

Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for students, parents, faculty, and visitors

Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in person in a professional and courteous manner

Provide information regarding school programs, policies, events, and services

Assist with student registration, enrollment documentation, and record maintenance

Direct inquiries to appropriate departments and staff members

Maintain accurate records and enter data into school management systems

Schedule appointments, meetings, and other administrative activities

Process incoming and outgoing correspondence

Assist with special events, community outreach activities, and school functions

Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues when appropriate

Support general administrative and office operations as needed

Requirements

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required

2+ years of customer service, administrative support, or front desk experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with diverse populations

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively

Professional demeanor and commitment to providing exceptional customer service

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience working in an educational or nonprofit environment

Experience with student information systems or database management

Bilingual skills are a plus

Location: Kingston, NY

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday
