Warehouse Dispatch Clerk

Our client, a distribution warehouse in the Plainfield area, is seeking a Warehouse Dispatch Clerk. As a Dispatch Clerk you will be part of the Distribution Department supporting warehouse and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Dispatch Clerk

Location: Plainfield, IN

Pay Range: $20.75

Shift: 2nd shift 2:45pm - 11:15pm

What's the Job?

Verify inbound and outbound carrier documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness

Check in/out containers according to established procedures

Control and monitor inbound/outbound flow of shipments

Perform container security checks to meet safety and quality standards

Assist drivers with yard locations and record yard assignments in the management system

What's Needed?

High School diploma or GED preferred

At least 1 year of relevant experience in warehouse or distribution environment

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting

Strong reading and interpretation skills for distribution documents

Proficiency with PC and Microsoft Office Suite
