As an Armed Security Officer Vehicle Patrol in Magna, UT , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $26.35 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, parking locations, and controlled-access points to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable armed post requirements.

Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, maintain accurate activity reports, and promptly communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Operate within established post orders, applicable laws, and company policies while maintaining a professional presence in environments where conditions may vary.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Handcuffing certification is preferred.

An armed guard card or license is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
