What You Will Do:
You will develop innovative new features for a new real-time situational awareness Command & Control Systems (C2) using Java.
You will design, architect and code critical capabilities in an active Agile environment.
Work in a highly collaborate team environment to design, architect and innovate software solutions.
Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
What You Will Learn:
You will learn how to develop high quality software to support real-time situational awareness Command & Control Systems (C2) systems.
You will learn how to support engineering process improvements, audits and peer reviews.
You will learn how to work within a highly collaborative software team and interface with other engineering disciplines as needed to meet program contract milestones.
You will learn how to update documentation related to test, verification, and design activities.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
Experience and/or knowledge in programming multithreaded systems.
Experience in software development using Java or C++.

Qualifications We Prefer:
Ability to engage & build positive relationships with both customers as well as internal & external employees.
Opportunities for travel to customer sites for demos, integration and support.
Strong computer science fundamentals such as data structures, algorithms and information retrieval.
Relevant work experience using SW Development tools (e.g. Maven, Apache Ant, Jenkins, etc).
Relevant work experience with full life cycle development including exposure to software requirements, design, development, debug and test.

The salary range for this role is 62,900 USD - 119,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
