The role is based in our Avondale, Arizona Distribution Center.

Overview

The role is based in our Avondale, Arizona Distribution Center and is Full Time, Weekday Shift in the Picking/Packing Outbound Department.

The schedule for the role is Monday - Friday - 7:00am - 3:30pm. (Plus OT)

Compensation

The wage for this position is based on many factors such as role requirements, skill set, years of experience and other organizational needs. The wage is $17 per hour.

Overview (Overall purpose and objective of the job)

This position/title/shift, which may vary depending on specific job assignment, performs tasks associated with:

The storage, process and shipment of product while meeting safety, quality, productivity, attendance and behavioral Vitamin Shoppe expectations.

Effectively and efficiently uses established procedures, tools, equipment (including RF Scanners), and technologies to complete transactions related to inbound and outbound processes within the Warehouse.

Responsibilities (The reason this job exists is to perform these functions. These functions are performed regularly, seriously impacts other jobs, and there are a limited number of employees whom performance of the function can be distributed).

Education/Certification:

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent combination of intellectual instruction and work experience.

Skill and Ability:

Able to operate held RF scanner or other devices associated with Warehouse Management System

Able to meet safety, quality, productivity and attendance requirements

Able to do continuous lifting up to 50 pounds

Able to communicate in English

Able to work in a fast pace environment

Able to work in a team environment

Able and willing to work overtime when required
