Shifts Available: 1st Shift - 8:00am to 5.00pm | Monday - Friday
Pay Rate: $19.00 an hour
Admissions Coordinator - Position Summary
The Admissions Coordinator serves as a key point of contact for prospective students, families, and staff, providing vital support throughout the admissions and enrollment processes. This role ensures accurate data handling, efficient office operations, and a welcoming experience for all stakeholders. The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for managing records, assisting with compliance reporting, and facilitating smooth communication within the department.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver excellent customer service to students, families, and staff by addressing inquiries and providing enrollment-related information and assistance.
Process and track incoming documentation, including cumulative education records, transcripts, and enrollment forms, ensuring all materials comply with established policies.
Schedule and facilitate orientation sessions for students and families, both virtually and in person.
Maintain and update client records in data management systems, such as Power School and FOCUS, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Organize and manage data activities related to attendance and compliance reporting, including preparing documentation for audits.
Coordinate with team members to support recruitment, retention, and community outreach efforts.
Assist with the scheduling and provision of additional client services, such as childcare and transportation.
Prepare routine correspondence, reports, and documentation as requested by management.
Monitor and verify that all data entry meets the latest standards and requirements set by governing agencies.
Provide general office support, including answering phones, managing calendars, filing, and completing administrative projects.
Perform other duties and administrative tasks as assigned, both on-site and remotely.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with data processing software, database/records management systems, and related technology applications; equivalent coursework in computer applications, data processing, or related technical programs may be considered
Proficiency in Google Suite or similar business software, including spreadsheets, word processing, presentation tools, internet navigation, online research, and database entry systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to successfully complete required background check and fingerprinting clearance
Ability to operate standard office equipment
Working knowledge of organizational policies, procedures, and applicable regulations
Ability to work flexible hours as needed
Valid Florida driver's license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance required.
