Resident Project Representative (Waco)

Job Description

Assist the Construction Engineers with all facets of project execution

Assist with the administration of one or multiple construction projects as an owner representative

Assist with identifying and resolving design and construction issues in the field.

Take part in meetings with client and general contractor.

Work directly with the client and contractor to meet the needs of the project.

Communicate with the project team and client throughout the project.

Oversee the Quality Assurance and Quality Control programs on a project.

Present job progress and issues in meetings with the client.

Prepare daily reports for each individual project.

Review contractor submittals and respond to contractor inquiries, ensuring that contract specifications are met.

Review contractor RFI's and make recommendations to EOR

Coordinate with others to obtain responses to requests for information and other submittals from contractors and keeps a log of such requests..

Perform other engineering and construction management functions as assigned.

Communicate regularly with PM, HDR field staff, and clients.

Read, clearly understand and interpret plans and specifications

Perform other duties as needed

Skills and Requirements

A minimum of 10 years of construction experience

Experience using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or closely related field

OR Master Electrician certification or Texas Journeyman

MEP Experience - Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate

Data Center experience

PE license
