Job Title: Warehouse Clerk Job Description
This temporary Warehouse Clerk position supports inventory preparation and day-to-day warehouse operations in a small, fast-paced facility. You will assist with scheduled inventory counts, labeling master packs, preparing boxes and packaging materials, verifying SKU numbers, packaging products, and confirming inventory quantities. The role requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to perform physical work on your feet throughout the shift while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Responsibilities
Prepare inventory for scheduled inventory counts by organizing and staging products for accurate counting.
Perform inventory counts and maintain high levels of accuracy in quantities and records.
Verify SKU numbers and product information against products and inventory records.
Label master packs and inventory items clearly and accurately to ensure proper identification.
Package products according to established company standards and procedures.
Confirm product quantities before packaging and shipment preparation.
Prepare boxes and packaging materials for inventory and warehouse operations.
Enter and verify inventory information in basic warehouse computer systems and applications.
Maintain accurate inventory records and update data as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following warehouse safety guidelines.
Follow instructions from warehouse leadership and floor supervisors to support daily operations.
Perform general labor tasks such as picking, packaging, shipping and receiving, and material handling as needed.
Stand and work on your feet for up to 8 hours per day and perform repetitive tasks in a warehouse setting.
Adapt to changing warehouse priorities and assist with additional tasks during peak periods.
Be available to work overtime on designated dates to support inventory and project deadlines.
Essential Skills
Demonstrated attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies in product counts and SKU numbers.
Ability to maintain accuracy in labeling, packaging, and inventory processes.
Basic computer skills with the ability to enter and verify inventory information in warehouse systems.
Comfort working in inventory, shipping and receiving, material handling, and general labor functions.
Physical stamina to stand and work on your feet for up to 8 hours per day and perform repetitive tasks.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions from warehouse leadership.
Strong reliability with consistent attendance and punctuality.
Flexibility to work overtime on specific dates when required.
Ability to communicate effectively with warehouse leadership and team members.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in picking and packaging in a warehouse environment is beneficial.
Experience with inventory preparation and counting processes is an advantage.
Familiarity with SKU verification and labeling practices in a warehouse setting.
Bilingual Spanish/English communication skills are encouraged and considered a plus.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a small warehouse operation.

Work Environment
This role is based in a small warehouse environment with a consistent first-shift schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. You will work on your feet for most of the day, performing repetitive tasks such as picking, packaging, shipping and receiving, and material handling. The facility emphasizes maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace. Standard warehouse attire is expected, suitable for physical work and adherence to safety guidelines.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
