Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated, self-starting Outside Sales Representative to develop and grow accounts with automotive repair shops, quick lubes, dealerships, and independent garages that service passenger vehicles. This role focuses on building strong customer relationships, understanding shop operations, and delivering solutions that help customers reduce costs and improve efficiency through a full line of lubricants, chemicals, filters, and shop supplies.

Key Responsibilities

Prospect and develop new accounts within an assigned territory, targeting passenger car motor oil (PCMO) service shops and related automotive businesses.

Conduct on-site visits to assess customer operations, present product solutions, and provide pricing options.

Promote and sell a full range of products including engine oils, coolants, greases, chemicals, filters, and related shop supplies.

Build and maintain strong relationships with shop owners, managers, and technicians.

Deliver quotes, follow up on leads, and close business using a consultative sales approach.

Coordinate with operations and support teams to ensure timely delivery and product availability.

Maintain accurate records of sales activity, customer interactions, and market insights using CRM tools.

Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals.

Represent the company at trade shows, vendor days, and local industry events as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications

1-3 years of outside B2B sales experience.

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with business owners and shop personnel.

Strong sense of accountability, follow-through, and ability to close deals.

Comfortable working independently, managing a territory, and controlling your own schedule.

Ability to learn product knowledge quickly and apply it in customer conversations.

Preferred Qualifications

Industry-specific experience in the automotive aftermarket, lubricants, chemicals, or related distribution preferred.

Working knowledge of PCMO products and how independent repair shops, quick lubes, and dealerships operate.

Prior success selling to automotive service businesses.
