As a Security Guard Full Time in Sherman Oaks, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Security Officer at a dynamic retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to shoppers, tenants, and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail center, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, exterior perimeter, and tenant corridors, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.

Assist with access control, visitor inquiries, directions, lost-and-found processes, and other customer-service needs in a busy retail environment.

Document incidents, observations, and completed patrols in accordance with Allied Universal and location-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
