Inside Sales Specialist

Eaton's ES GEIS CHD division is currently seeking a Inside Sales Specialist. This is a hybrid role for candidates currently residing in Nashville, TN, Charlotte, NC, Raleigh, NC, Orlando, FL, Asheville, NC, or Smyrna, GA. Relocation is not provided.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $81000 - $118000 a year. Please note the salary information shown is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

What you'll do:

Reporting directly to the Strategic Programs and Inside Sales Manager, GEIS NA, this role will be responsible for the attainment of Division and Corporate goals of growth and profitability by providing critical inside sales support to the GEIS NA outside sales team.

In this role you will:

Assist the sales representative on quotations to customers.

Receive incoming telephone calls regarding technical help, product application, where to find material, and standard terms and conditions pertaining to the sale of the products.

Be familiar with competitor's products and prices, and continuously increase knowledge of Eaton Crouse-Hinds & B-Line products and their application advantages to customer needs.

Perform cross reference requests to support conversions from competitive product.

Collaborate with various departments to support both Pre-sale and Post-sale activities in order to drive customer satisfaction. (Pricing, Customer Service, Operations, Compliance, Logistics, Quality, Product Line Management, Engineering, Finance, & the Warehouse team).Preform various order management related functions where required. (Urgent shipping requests, expedite requests, return requests, and order cancellations.)

Help maintain record keeping and reporting of weekly sales for district managers. (Eaton SharePoint).

Facilitate training opportunities for new team members within the sales organization - both internal reps and agents.

Qualifications:

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

Minimum of one (1) year of customer interfacing experience in the electrical industry.

No relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of Nashville, TN, Charlotte, NC, Raleigh, NC, Orlando, FL, Asheville, NC, or Smyrna, GA to be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Engineering degree or Business Administration degree with marketing emphasis from an accredited institution
