Summary You will serve as an ELECTRONICS ENGINEER (Electronic Warfare) in the FST ENGINEERING DIV, FST DEPT of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST. Position is located at CCC (Cecil Field Commerce Center). Responsibilities You will plan, organize, control, coordinate and direct the engineering program support work of projects providing in-service support to Weapon Systems for Electronic Warfare systems. You will provide engineering support for major integration of Electronics Warfare systems into aircraft, the avionics system, its software and its support systems. You will represent NAVAIR in reaching engineering compromises and agreements with engineers of other organizations and contractors. You will review, evaluate, and advise on the effectiveness, technical adequacy and suitability of work and proposals of others (in-house, other activities, industry) in resolving complicated and critical problems. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing Naval Aviation engineering solutions to Fleet Support Teams and PMA for Electronic Warfare systems; 2) Leading Electronics Warfare Systems projects, developing findings, and briefing higher level leadership; 3) Providing expert advice and guidance concerning critical and complex EW systems. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. OR Current registration as an Engineer Intern (EI), Engineer in Training (EIT), or licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) by any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, or Puerto Rico.
