As a Security Officer Alarm Panel Operator in Roanoke, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, respond to alarm-related activity, and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $16.89 / Hour

Day Time

Mon04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Tue04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Sat08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Sun08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a manufacturing and industrial location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, warehouses, parking areas, loading docks, and the property perimeter.

Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity to appropriate personnel.

Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol records in accordance with site and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
