As a Security Officer Unarmed Alarm Panel Patrol in Salem, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment. You will interact professionally with employees and visitors, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Fri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sat06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Sun06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a manufacturing and industrial location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.

Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.

Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

A guard card or license is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
