Job Title: Warehouse Associate - 2nd Shift
Job Description
The Warehouse Associate on 2nd shift supports daily warehouse operations by accurately receiving, storing, organizing, and preparing merchandise for shipment. Working under direct supervision and within established guidelines, this role uses warehouse systems and equipment to handle materials safely and efficiently while maintaining accurate documentation and inventory records.
Responsibilities
Generate and review manifests to dispatch, confirming customer and stock orders for accuracy.
Interpret warehouse documents to determine which items need to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
Open cartons, sort merchandise, and relocate items from receiving or production areas to designated storage locations.
Verify merchandise documentation and record incoming merchandise by part number and quantity.
Organize and place merchandise on racks, shelves, totes, or bins according to a predetermined sequence.
Prepare products for distribution within the facility, ensuring items are staged correctly for the next process.
Assemble customer orders from stock and place completed orders on pallets, shelves, or conveyors for packing or shipping.
Receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products according to established procedures and guidelines.
Arrange stock parts in specified sequence to support efficient assembly by other workers.
Create and enter records for manifests in the warehouse computer system using an RF scanner or related tools.
Follow all safety procedures while working around forklifts, hand carts, and other warehouse equipment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with warehouse standards.
Essential Skills
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
0-6 months of warehouse experience preferred, with willingness to learn and follow established processes.
Ability to perform picking and packing tasks accurately and efficiently.
Basic experience or aptitude for using RF scanners to track and record inventory movements.
Ability to handle materials safely as a material handler, including lifting, moving, and organizing products.
Strong attention to detail when verifying part numbers, quantities, and documentation.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work effectively under direct supervision.
Reliability in adhering to schedules and maintaining consistent attendance for 2nd shift operations.

Work Environment
This role is based in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled warehouse with narrow aisles where forklifts and hand carts move rapidly in clearly defined, safety-conscious directions. You work on 2nd shift and regularly interact with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, hand carts, conveyors, and RF scanners, as well as computer systems for manifest entry and inventory tracking. The facility enforces strict safety and security standards, including a no-cellphone or personal electronics policy on the warehouse floor. Closed-toe shoes are required at all times, and you must remain aware of your surroundings while working near moving equipment and navigating busy aisles

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Flower Mound, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
