Job Title: Configuration Technician - Warehouse
Job Description
This role focuses on configuring, testing, and verifying smartphones and tablets in a warehouse environment. You will work hands-on with mobile devices, follow detailed instructions to set up and adjust settings, and use warehouse tools and systems to ensure accurate order fulfillment and product verification.
Responsibilities
Work hands-on with smartphones and tablets to configure and prepare devices for use.
Locate device settings menus and adjust configurations according to provided instructions.
Set up devices following detailed written or verbal procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Power on tablets and perform testing in line with established testing protocols and instructions.
Review and interpret pick sheets and order sheets to identify required products and quantities.
Use RF scanners to verify products, scan items, and confirm order accuracy.
Support warehouse operations by assisting with picking, loading, unloading, and inventory tasks as needed.
Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner.
Stand and work at a desk or workstation for up to 10 hours per day while performing configuration and warehouse tasks.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety and operational procedures.
Essential Skills
Experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment.
Hands-on experience with smartphones and tablets, including navigating settings and basic configuration.
Ability to locate and adjust settings on iPads and other smart devices according to instructions.
Experience using RF scanners for picking, product verification, and inventory tracking.
Picking and order fulfillment tasks within a warehouse setting.
Ability to perform loading, unloading, and general inventory duties safely and efficiently.
Capability to operate a pallet jack in a warehouse environment.
Comfort with standing and working at a desk or workstation for extended periods, up to 10 hours per day.
Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions accurately and consistently.
Strong attention to detail when handling devices, orders, and inventory.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Familiarity with using iPads and smartphones in a work setting for configuration or inventory tasks.
Previous experience in a configuration, repair, or device testing role in a warehouse or technical environment.
Basic technical aptitude and comfort working with electronic devices and mobile technology.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to assist with a variety of warehouse tasks beyond primary configuration duties.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
