Responsibilities At the full performance level (GS-12) the major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following: Planning, coordination, and execution of business functions, resources allocation, and production. Prepare, justify, and/or administer the budget for program area, including monitoring expenditures to ensure cost-effective support of programs and policies. Minimum Qualification Requirements: To qualify for this position, you must meet the following minimum qualifications: Experience: To qualify, you must possess at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors). Specialized experience is defined as demonstrated experience: providing expert advice and oversight to all administrative functions associated with the operation of a nation park service park including budget formulation, financial management, payroll and timekeeping, employee relations, human resource management, bill of collections, procurement/contracting, internal control/audits, travel, and property management. You must include hours per week worked. Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
