Type: Six-month contract with potential for extension or perm hire

Pay: $65.00 to $68.00 an hour
Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality primary and/or specialty care services, conduct patient assessments, diagnose and treat medical conditions, develop care plans, and collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, examinations, and medical histories.
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies.
Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
Educate patients and families regarding disease prevention, treatment options, and healthy lifestyle choices.
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation within the electronic health record (EHR) system.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with clinical standards and regulations.
Qualifications
Required
Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.
National board certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
Current DEA registration (or ability to obtain).
Current BLS certification.
Preferred
[1-3+] years of Nurse Practitioner experience.
Experience in primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, urgent care, pediatrics, or specialty practice.
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR).
