Description

The main duty for this role is to reprocess old claims for 1 specific provider - Review and verify accuracy of medical claims and invoices submitted by healthcare providers - Enter billing and payment information into electronic systems - Ensure all billing and payment information complies with insurance regulations and coding standards - Follow up with insurance companies and patients to resolve payment issues and disputes - Communicate with healthcare providers and patients regarding billing and payment questions and concerns - Maintain detailed and accurate records of billing and payment transactions - Keep up-to-date with changes in medical billing regulations and coding systems

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field preferred - Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing or healthcare administration - Proficiency in using electronic medical billing software and Microsoft Office - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent communication and customer service skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
