Summary About the Position: Incumbent works under closer than normal supervision at the journeyman level performing assignments designed to provide the competencies, skills and experience required to perform more complex work at the full performance grade level. Investigates the need for contract change orders in view of conditions at the worksite. Reviews contractor's cost breakdowns, progress measurement data, reports of materials and equipment use in or to compute periodic payments. Reviews and interprets contract plans and specifications. Resolves inspection and surveying problems through contractor representative. Conduct inspections of completed work.
