Compensation: $26.44 - $26.44 per hour

Typical duties include but are not limited to:
Must be knowledgeable in maintenance of military equipment to include, but not limited to, wheeled vehicles, track vehicles, engineer equipment, power generation, and material handling equipment.
Able to accomplish minor repairs and perform services as outlined in established technical manuals.
Must be able to service and fuel transportation equipment, air compressors, generators, lawn maintenance equipment and other motor vehicles and equipment as assigned.
Must be able to perform inspection and repair on brakes, suspension, wheels, hubs and steering systems.
Maintain accurate records, wash, clean and lubricate vehicles, equipment, check all fluid levels and adjust accordingly during fueling operations, repair tires and perform minor body repairing and painting as required.
Must be able to read, understand, and follow technical manuals, lube orders, wiring and hydraulic schematics to ensure proper diagnosis and repair during scheduled services.
Must be able to accurately determine needed repair parts and generate parts request.
Train employees on proper operation, daily preventative maintenance activities and safety checks of grounds maintenance equipment and snow removal equipment.
Qualifications:
ASE certification preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years light, medium and heavy truck experience.
Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers, tell time and count work hours, and to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Physical Requirements:
Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.
Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.
Requirements:
A valid state driver's license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera's insurance.
